Senior Technician

This candidate will troubleshoot products within various production areas, assist in identifying root cause, and participate in the elimination of problems. Responsibilities will include some assembly and testing of products. The candidate should be comfortable working with electro-mechanical assemblies and systems and have experience in troubleshooting to component level. Additionally this person may have involvement in troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying development parts, equipment, and systems. Trained and certified as a qualified solderer is necessary. Candidate must be able to put together electrical circuits from schematics and precision mechanisms from sketches and be familiar with engineering laboratory test equipment such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.

The ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and drawings, as well as assemble prototypes is a must along with the ability to test prototype torquer mechanisms is also essential. Two-year certificate from college or technical school is required and three to five years related experience. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and be versatile.
