Digital vs. Analog
Digital panel meters are the appropriate choice for applications where exact measurement is the required functionality. Analog meters are available in a variety of accuracy levels, for +/-1% to +/-20%. They are most often used when relative change is the critical factor of readout. They are often used on panels where multiple meters are present and quick reference is a must.
